Adults learn Muay Thai techniques (like in the UFC and kickboxing) at an appropriate pace. In this class you will learn punching, kicking & clinch techniques which can be used in competition or in self defense. This is also an amazing workout if you’re looking for fitness that you will never get bored with!
Muay Thai, or Thai Boxing, is a striking art that focuses on the use of various punches and kicks along with application of knee strikes and elbow strikes to give the student a well rounded understanding of the striking game. The program is a great cardiovascular workout and is a vital component of the overall self defense program. Learning how to use your strikes with proper technique is essential to success not only in self defense, but also extremely important in competition. We take it one step further and teach the student the overall strategy of the striking game and ensure that the student knows which strikes are required for the given situation. Our Muay Thai coaches use their experience and desire to teach to improve everyone’s game to make every single participant better and to have a more competent understanding of the Muay Thai game. It is a safe and fun class that is a very good workout.
